We Started Nutrian Because We Couldn\'t Find What We Were Looking For

Like a lot of supplement brands, Nutrian began with a personal frustration. Finding high-quality, genuinely halal-certified supplements in the UK was harder than it had any right to be. Most products either used gelatin capsules derived from non-halal sources, carried vague "suitable for Muslims" labelling with no formal certification, or were manufactured in facilities with no transparency around processes or ingredients.

We knew there had to be a better way. So we built it.

Made in the UK, to Medicine-Grade Standards

All Nutrian supplements are manufactured in the United Kingdom. Our manufacturing partner operates under the same Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards required of licensed medicines — meaning every batch is independently tested for purity, potency, and microbiological safety before it leaves the facility.

This matters because the UK supplement market is largely unregulated. Brands can make almost any claim they like. We hold ourselves to a higher standard — one that we can document, verify, and stand behind.

Halal Certification — What It Actually Means

Our halal certification covers the entire product lifecycle: ingredient sourcing, manufacturing process, capsule shell, and packaging. We use HPMC plant-based capsules across our vitamin and mineral range, and where we use bovine-derived ingredients (such as in our collagen products), those sources are certified halal from animals slaughtered in full accordance with Islamic requirements.

Certification documentation is available on request. We don't hide it — we're proud of it.
